Low dose immunotherapy, (LDI)

Low  dose immunotherapy, (LDI), is a revolutionary treatment from Germany  that has been shown to provide dramatic relief of symptoms and  improvement in health for patients with a wide range of chronic  illnesses, including Lyme disease, chronic fatigue syndrome,  fibromyalgia, Hashimoto’s, multiple sclerosis, Crohn’s disease,  ulcerative colitis, interstitial cystitis, lupus, smoldering infections  such as Lyme and Epstein Barr, Herpes, Shingles. It is effective and  originally used for chronic allergies in it’s original form.

A desensitization of T cells (the part of the immune system that was  over-reacting to the antigens) occurs. When the over-activated T cell  portion of the immune system is reduced, the depressed immunity is  enhanced, which can effectively destroy intracellular infections.

So, for example, let’s say that the patient’s LDI dose included antigens to  Lyme bacteria. The LDI diminishes the abnormally activated immune  system cells, which is the major cause of symptoms in chronic Lyme  disease, but allows the immune cells to take over and effectively attack  the Lyme bacteria in the cells.

LDI  can be administered by intradermal injection or by sublingual dosing  every 8 weeks for year 1 and every 12 weeks for year 2.  A subsequent  6-12 month routine booster is recommend to maintain.

Can this be done remotely? Yes, energetic testing remotely can identify the antigens you need and they can be shipped to you.

Low Dose NaltrexonePlease add this service: not a charge associated with it.

Low  Dose Naltrexone, also known as LDN, commonly used as a treatment option  for our patients suffering from inflammatory states such as: chronic  infections (Lyme/Epstein Barr/Herpes/Shingles),  chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, Crohn’s disease, central  nervous system disorders, any immune disease and thyroid-related  conditions. LDN is a prescription medication that works to reactivate  cells, build up your own endorphins and boost your body’s immune  system.

How does this affect those with autoimmune disease?

Naltrexone  was once known for treating drug and alcohol addiction at high dosages. However, in extremely low doses (LDN), it now has a much wider use and  holds great promise for the millions of people worldwide who suffer from  immune deficient or inflammatory illnesses. Newer studies show that  autoimmune diseases results from immunodeficiency, which means the  immune system’s ability to fight infectious disease is low or even  absent. LDN is known to help normalize the immune system and is a  helpful treatment option.

How Does LDN Work?

LDN  normalizes your immune system by turning off the cells that cause  autoimmunity (war)  and diminishing the release of inflammatory  chemicals in the body and brain. By boosting the immune system, it  activates the body’s own natural defenses, thereby stimulating immune  function in patients with immunodeficiency and reducing antibody  production in patients with excessive antibody production, such as  Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and Graves’ disease.

LDN  is known to assist the abnormal inflammation and immune dysfunction  seen in Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis and Graves’ disease. It actually works  to improve tissue T3 levels, thyroid resistance, thyroid transport and  even leptin resistance in these disorders.

LDN  also works with your body’s immune system through its interactions with  your body’s endorphins – peptides produced in the brain and adrenal  glands that act as the body’s natural painkiller. The major role of LDN  is to block the body’s opioid receptors for just a very few hours. Those  are the same receptors used by the body’s endorphins. The body responds  to this by greatly increasing its endorphin production, and those  higher levels last all day – far after the blockade by LDN has ended.  Endorphins turn out to be the major normalizer of your immune system.

Though  most commonly referenced in relation to you mood, endorphins also play a  role in pain relief, growth of cells and angiogenesis (the growth of  blood vessels that feed a tumor). As LDN inhibits endorphin production  and allows your body to naturally produce more, stimulation of the  immune system occurs, pain reduces, and overall sense of well-being is  improved. Higher doses can also aid in weight loss.
